Personal Assistance Scheme Training Programme

The Personal Assistance Scheme Training Programme was set up in 2000 specifically to train support workers who are not professionally accredited to work with disabled students.

It is accredited by the Open College Network West Midlands at Level 2.

All support workers without professional accreditation (eg BSL interpreter status, qualified dyslexia tutor etc.) must attend the training.

As part of your training you will receive a copy of the 'Learner Handbook' from your training manager.
